"Prelude Du Xingolati Afterparty"
Two stages at The Pound SF
After you've rocked Prelude Du Xingolati on the battleship, get ready for an all-night multimedia dance fest featuring SF's nu school all-stars of electronic music hosted by Lowpro Lounge. This late night rage-a-thon is going to take place at The Pound SF, and with two stage going until after dawn, you know it's going to get freaky. The bar will reopen at 6am for your morning Mimosas of course!
Guiding the audio portion of this multimedia experience will be DJ Dream Team members Laird the cowboy hatted master of funky breakbeats, and the NewsBreakz ambassador himself: Smoove. Also appearing behind the decks will be DJ Logic, with an exclusive set that is not-to-be-missed. Bringing his beats to the Bay yet again, is LA superstar edIT! This freak has been tearing up the West Coast, and it seems that in 2006 he's on everybody's list. Bringing the definitively San Francisco sound to the event are Bay Area breaks heros BLVD. You know they will be funking up the dancefloor with their infectious groove. Also on deck are a duo that always bring the illest uptempo hiphop beats with the dirtiest cuts!! J.Tonal's own breed of crunkology with Citizen Ten guesting on the scratch! Also guaranteed to blow the roof off are James Christopher and Audio Angel. These two drum n bass headz are just completing an album together, so expect some off-the-wall collaboration. B.Smiley always comes with the freshest sounds and thanks to his regular gig at the Supperclub, he skills are tightly honed. He will be laying down a set, as well as TFEP veteran Maximillian and Garden House operator Majitope, expect a barn burner.
Gracing the lights and projections will be the creme of the bay area VJ scene. Straight out of California's melting pot of digital producer/performers comes Emmy Award winning visualist, and Light Rhythms alum Control Machine. Master of the multiple screens, C. Machine will be shredding photons with his mind melting, all-original psychedelic video. Also on the bill, STS9's go-to-girl Kaia exciting the lighting and flipping the synchronized eye candy. Suryummy has granted us a rare appearance for this afterparty. Another producer on the Light Rhythms label, this prophetic producer of parallel dimensions is defending his 2005 win at the SF VJ battle. Rounding out the fearsome foursome is motion graphics legend, and VJ connoisseur Kevlar, all-original, all bad ass.

New Year's Eve Afterparty Jan 1, 2006
"Return of the Comeback"
A New Year's Eve all night Major Rager
Yo yo party people, freaks, cool cats, and family, have we got a party for you. To cap off such a amazing year, we felt like we needed to do something special for yall on New Years Eve. Lots of sick events going on, so we decided to bring the bad ass afterparty, check it out:
Lowpro Lounge presents THE SF afterparty for New Year's 2006: "Return of the Comeback!" This all-night Major Rager will occur at San Francisco's premier afterparty location (The Gingerbread Warehouse/Danzhouse), with some of the sickest and most skilled performers in the Bay. Of course we've got two fully loaded JK SOUND systems, so you know it's going to bang! We'll kick things off at 1a, and go all night until 7:00a. Expect sick live performances, towering DJ and vocalist skillz, live-pa mashups, sick acoustic fusion, and dope projection magic.
Highlights to include:
Myka Nyne & Abstract Rude: After completely rocking our Halloween afterparty, we knew we had to get this skilled mic-controller back for another round of vocal acrobatics. This time Myka Nyne will be bringing his boy, Abstract Rude for two helpings of verbal gems in yo ears. Rocking the beats will be our own bad-asses-of-scratch Citizen Ten and Willow the Gaslamp Killer (currently opening for MF Doom). Expect beautiful mayhem.
BLVD: "BLVD is a three-piece house and breaks band. Is it electronic? Is it jam? Whatever it is, it's good, and it's filling San Francisco's dance floors. BLVD builds on top of their tight instrumentals with electronic and vocal samples. Try to stand still, we dare you." -Jambase
James Christopher + Audio Angel: James Christopher, a longtime resident DJ at Atlanta's D&B weekly "Sessions," co-founded the Lowpro Lounge and has performed with members of Sound Tribe Sector 9, the Santa Cruz Hemp All Stars, and DJ Logic. James Chris can often be found performing with Audio Angel, without question, THE diva of San Francisco drum and bass. She performed with James Christopher in the jungle band Rootscience, and has recorded and performed with Sound Tribe Sector 9 regularly. Sweetly layering her voice with the drum and bass sound you question whether the vocals you are hearing are the sounds of an Angel.

Myka Nyne (Vocals, Freestyle Fellowship) &
Abstract Rude (Vocals, ATU)
BLVD (Live House & Breaks, Lowpro)
Laird (Funky Breaks, Get YER Freak On!)
